Privacy policy
Who uses the tools
The tools are built for my own and my family's use. They are not offered to the public. The only person who normally signs in to a Google account through them is me, using my own account.
Information the tools access
When I connect my own Google account, a tool may use these permissions:
- Send email from my account (
gmail.send), to deliver summaries and digests to myself. - Read my Google Calendar (
calendar.readonly), to show or reconcile my events. - Read email, documents and calendar events in my account, where a tool needs them to build my daily or weekly planning notes.
Tools also read public web pages and data feeds (for example event listings and marketplace listings), and notes and files on my own computer.
How information is used
Information is used only to provide the feature I asked the tool for, such as a daily summary, a calendar view or an alert about a listing. It is not used for advertising, profiling or training any model by me.
Storage and security
Data is stored on my own computer and on servers I control, in local files and databases. OAuth tokens are kept in files readable only by my user account. I do not run a public database of user information.
Sharing and third parties
I do not sell or share information with third parties. Some tools send text to a language-model provider (Anthropic, or a model running on my own computer) to summarize or classify it. That text is sent only to produce the result for me, and under the provider's API terms, which state that API inputs are not used to train its models by default.
The tools' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Data stays on my systems until I delete it. I can revoke a tool's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and delete its local data. If anyone other than me has connected an account and wants their data deleted, email the address below and I will delete it.
Children
The tools are not directed at children and do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
I may update this policy; the effective date above will change when I do.
